HOW WE RASIE OUR PUPPIES

Our puppies are whelped in the house. I set up a whelping area as well as a bed for myself. For the next week and a half I spend sleeping with the new litter and Violet to ensure that the puppies are all warm and getting a sufficient amount of milk. Puppies are weighed often the first few days.

Once the pups begin opening their eyes they are handled by our family. We have many little hands that enjoy petting and holding the pups.

As the puppies grow, so does their home. We eventually move them to a larger puppy pen where they have room to play, as well as a place to paper train them.

Our puppies spend lots of time being handled by children and underfoot in our home.

Before going to their forever home they are checked over by our veterinarian, dewormed, and given their first shots. We include a health guarantee/contract with all of our pups.

Pups are sent home with a puppy pack which consists of a blankie with moms scent, puppy food to transition, as well as his/her health record.
